Dear Quantum Machine Learner,

Over the weekend, I had the honor of giving a talk at the RGUT Srikakulam Qiskit Fall Fest '25. This time, I didn't talk about technical details, but rather about the difficulties that beginners in particular face in the field of quantum computing.

I have (self-) studied quite a bit in my life. Mostly technical things. But quantum computing has been the most difficult so far. Not because it is inherently more difficult than other technical concepts.

It's because it's taught the wrong way. The villains of quantum computing education seem to take pleasure in the difficulties students face. But once you get to know them better, who knows, maybe you'll even become friends with them.
